The aim of this study is to investigate the (cost-)effectiveness of LITT (Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy) in primary irresectable glioblastoma. Glioblastoma are the most common malignant brain tumors and are, due to their devastating nature and the fact that these tumors occur at a relatively young age (median 59 years), responsible for up to 7% of total life years lost from cancer before the age of 70. This phase II trial investigates the possible immune effects of two different diets targeting the gut microbiome in patients with stage III-IV melanoma that has been removed by surgery (resectable), has spread to other places in the body (metastatic), or is unable to be removed by surgery (unresectable), and who are being treated with the immunotherapy drugs pembrolizumab or nivolumab as part of their standard of care. Efficacy and Safety of Pembrolizumab in Combination With Lenvatinib in Metastatic Uveal MElanoma Patients (PLUME)
Because we suspect that the benefit of anti-PD-1 in metastatic UM patients could vary according to previous exposure to Tebentafusp (better efficacy of anti-PD-1 after Tebentafusp), the combination of pembrolizumab and lenvatinib will be assessed in two independent cohorts: cohort 1 with Tebentafusp-naive patients, and cohort 2 with patients previously treated by Tebentafusp. Efficiency of Vaccination with Lysate-loaded Dendritic Cells in Patients with Newly Diagnosed Glioblastoma
The primary objective of the study is to determine whether overall survival of newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients treated with lysate-loaded, mature dendritic cell vaccines as add-on to the standard of care consisting of resection, radiotherapy with concomitant temozolomide chemotherapy and subsequent adjuvant temozolomide chemotherapy is superior to the treatment with the standard of care alone.
