Frameless Stereotactic Radiosurgery for Intact Brain Metastases
This is a randomized study to determine if not treating planning target volume (PTV) margins during radiation therapy worsens progression free survival rates in patients with brain metastases.

French Clinical Datbase of Melanoma Patients (RIC-Mel)
With a high incidence, low survival rates and limiter availability of effective treatment, melanoma is one of the research priorities for health authorities. Optimizing the development of both academic and private research requires the availability information on the features of patients. To meet this need, the French Multidisciplinary Melanoma Group (GMFMel) in collaboration with INCa (French National Cancer Institute), the CeNGEPS (National Centre for Healthcare Products Trial Management) and the CIC-BT0503 from Nantes University Hospital (Biotherapy Clinical Centre of Investigation) has set up in April 2011 a Clinical...

French National Database of Rare Dermatological Cancers
Merkel cell carcinoma, advanced basal cell carcinoma requiring systemic treatment, and cutaneous adnexal carcinomas are 3 types of rare skin cancers for which much remains unknown in terms of natural behavior, prognosis, treatment and outcomes. CARADERM is a French prospective national cohort enrolling patients with either one of these 3 tumor types, whose objectives are : - to provide epidemiological, clinical and socio-economic characteristics of patients - to identify new clinical or epidemiological prognostic factors for these rare cancers - to evaluate the impact of various treatments on outcomes

Frequency and Clinical Phenotype of BAP1 Hereditary Predisposition Syndrome
This research will have a significant impact on the overall management of those cancer patients and their family members who are at risk for hereditary cancer due to germline inactivation of BAP1. Our study will ultimately facilitate the development of novel screening, prevention and treatment strategies for these individuals with the syndrome. Because the vast majority of UM develop in pre-existing nevi, characterization of individuals at high risk for development of UM will allow closer screening and earlier intervention which would improve the treatment outcome not only for retaining vision but also for overall survival. Similarly...

F-Tryptophan PET/CT in Human Cancers
Imaging procedures such as 1-(2-[18F]FLUOROETHYL)-L-Tryptophan PET/CT in patients with cancers may help doctors assess a patient's response to treatment and help plan the best treatment in the future. The purpose is to see if there can be a better differentiation of tumor and non-tumor tissue where the tumor tissue has a higher uptake of Tryptophan.

Functional and Ultrasound Guided Resection of Glioblastoma
Functional and ultrasound-guided resection of glioblastoma: assessing the use of additional imaging during surgery to improve outcomes for patients with glioblastoma brain tumours
-
Functional Navigation in Surgery of Cerebral Tumors and Vascular Malformations
The purpose of the study is to assess accuracy, advantages of functional neuronavigation and calculate safe distance from motor areas to brain tumors and vascular malformations in image-guided surgery.

Function and Composition of Regulatory B Cells in Participants With Glioblastoma
Rationale: This project elaborates on a novel finding of the investigators that has not yet been reported in literature, namely the presence of elevated levels of atypical B cells in participants with glioblastoma. ln the period 2015 2018 the investigators analysed the blood immune subset composition of a cohort of 180 participants undergoing neurosurgery. The most relevant finding was the presence of an abnormally elevated level of B cells in the blood of the great majority of participants with glioblastoma. These B cells may be involved in the immunosuppression associated with glioblastoma that makes this tumor refractory to ...

Gadolinium and Ferumoxytol MRI in Diagnosing Patients With Abnormalities in the Central Nervous System
This phase II trial studies how well gadolinium and ferumoxytol magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) work in diagnosing patients with abnormalities in the central nervous system. Diagnostic procedures, such as gadolinium and ferumoxytol MRI, may help find and diagnose abnormalities in the central nervous system.

Gallium-68 NODAGA-JR11 PECT/CT in Neuroendocrine Tumors
NODAGA-JR11 is a novel somatostatin receptor antagonist, while Gallium-68 DOTATATE is a typical somatostatin receptor agonist. This study is to evaluate the lesion detection ability of Gallium-68 NODAGA-JR11 for the diagnostic imaging of metastatic, well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors using positron emission tomography / computed tomography (PET/CT). The results will be compared between antagonist Gallium-68 NODAGA-JR11 and agonist Gallium-68 DOTATATE in the same group of patients.
